Bravada Launches Women’s Fashion eCommerce Site

Bravada International has launched a new eCommerce site focused on offering a full range of women’s fashion products and accessories.

The new ThriftyBox.Shop joins several other sites owned, developed and operated by Bravada International and served by its Los Angeles warehouse, the company said in a Thursday (Feb. 8) press release.

ThriftyBox.Shop offers dresses, women’s tops, bottoms, leggings, skirts, sweaters and accessories, according to the release. The site promises “low wholesale pricing on premium quality products with second to none service times and commitment.”

It aims to compete with retailers like Temu and Shein by offering fast domestic shipping from its Los Angeles warehouse, per the release.

“The mix of low wholesale pricing, premium quality products and fast domestic shipping should give ThriftyBox.Shop a competitive edge to attract U.S. consumers who prefer to purchase from a U.S.-based online retailer,” the release said.

The website invites shoppers to open a Thrifty Box account, add items to their Thrifty Box and place an order when it totals at least $30. The bigger the Thrifty Box, the greater the discount. For example, shoppers save 2.5% on a Thrifty Box over $50 and save 15% on one over $1,000.

To increase the average purchase size of each Thrifty Box, the company plans to add several complementary categories to its product offering. It plans to add pet supplies, makeup and health products soon, and household products later.

The new site joins other Bravada International offerings including LeggingsWholesale.com, WorldofLeggings.com, OnlyLeggings.com, USAFashion.com and WorldofPets.com.

Proprietary eCommerce sites can deliver massive benefits for smaller vendors, if they or their partners have both the industry and technological know-how for success, Bravada International CEO Danny Alex told PYMNTS in an interview posted in 2021.

By going to market with their own proprietary eCommerce sites, vendors can avoid the drawbacks of working with big-name marketplaces, such as giving up a significant stake in their own operations and facing the risk of being barred from selling on the platform, Alex said.

“Once you own that traffic, no one can knock you down,” Alex said. “You are the captain of your own success.”
