Three buzzed-about beauty products we tried this week

They say: A lip oil featuring ingredients of 92 per cent natural origin. The product produces a glassy shine with no stickiness, along with 24 hours of nourishment for lips with a light, wearable tint.

We say: This lip gloss packs a serious punch of shine. A quick slick with the plush applicator wand yields a candy-coated finish with a pretty kiss of colour. The 775 Poppy Glow — a cheery orange-red — is a favourite shade.

Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue

They say: A leave-in hair treatment that promises to “reverse hair damage in 90 seconds.” Featuring alpha-hydroxy acid and omega-9, the spray product strengthens and smooths hair inside and out.

We say: In need of a boost, our tester tried this product on her freshly cleansed and conditioned, towel-dried hair. Applying the recommended 10-20 pumps, she found the formula helped to battle tangles and smooth frizz. After styling, she said her hair appeared more smooth and felt less dry.
