New York Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2027 shows filled their front rows with actors, musicians and athletes, and the guest looks often matched the tone of the collections behind them. Across venues, attendees moved between sharp tailoring, animal prints and heavy leather, giving the arrivals almost as much variety as the runways themselves. Several stars turned up at more than one show over the course of the week, changing looks as they went and giving photographers a steady run of front-row moments to document.
Ralph Lauren drew one of the stronger turnouts. Cynthia Erivo wore a black military jacket with red details over black flared trousers, and Elizabeth Debicki went monochrome in olive green, layering a shirt and tie under a matching trench coat. Devon Lee Carlson leaned into a western denim look at the show before changing into a black V-neck sweater and trousers at Sandy Liang later in the week. At Coach, Elle Fanning wore a cheetah print coat with a red leather pencil skirt, a black beret and pumps.
Carolina Herrera pulled a trio of screen actors. Camila Mendes paired a high-waisted leopard-print skirt with a black turtleneck and oversized sunglasses, Lucy Hale wore a red belted midi dress with matching kitten heels, and Natalia Dyer chose a dress printed with red, purple, green and pink florals. The looks stayed close to the house’s polished, color-forward register.
Elsewhere the leather ran heavier. Madelyn Cline wore a black leather bomber jacket with micro shorts, sheer tights and statement heels at Cult Gaia, while Pamela Anderson chose a patchwork scarf-print dress with an asymmetric handkerchief hem at Veronica Beard. At Simkhai, Minka Kelly wore a black cropped cape top with a coordinating maxi skirt and Venus Williams arrived in a black feathered mini dress.
The rest of the schedule brought more color and shine. Billy Porter wore a magenta checkered coat with silver shoes at Christian Siriano, Saweetie chose an oversized, textured coat in champagne at Prabal Gurung, and Chloe Sevigny wore a leather cape shirt dress with black gladiator-style heeled sandals at 7 For All Mankind. The spread of looks underlined how closely front-row dressing tracked the season’s leanings toward leather, prints and strong color.
