Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal has officially joined the family of Italian luxury fashion house Bulgari as its newest global brand ambassador, marking a new collaboration between the acclaimed performer and the prestigious jewelry and fashion label.
The announcement highlights a shared emphasis on authenticity, craftsmanship and meaningful storytelling — qualities both the actor and the luxury brand say align closely with their values. In a statement announcing the partnership, Gyllenhaal reflected on his admiration for the brand and the philosophy behind its creations.
“I’ve always felt close to Bulgari for the way it blends beauty with meaning, creativity with emotion,” Gyllenhaal said. “There is a generosity in the maison’s approach — toward craftsmanship, culture and human stories — that resonates with my values. Authenticity, to me, comes from the relationships we build and the care we bring to what we create, staying true to what really matters and to who we are.”
Bulgari CEO Laura Burdese echoed similar sentiments while welcoming the actor to the brand’s global ambassador roster. She praised Gyllenhaal’s artistic sensibility and the emotional depth he brings to his work.
“Jake represents a contemporary form of excellence rooted in integrity, empathy and authenticity,” Burdese said. “His artistic sensitivity and his ability to create sincere connections with people reflect the very essence of our maison. He brings depth, humanity and purpose to everything he does.”
Gyllenhaal’s appointment comes shortly after pop superstar Dua Lipa was also named a global brand ambassador for Bulgari. The pair now join an extensive roster of internationally recognized figures representing the brand.
Other ambassadors for Bulgari include actors Anne Hathaway and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, as well as stars such as Zendaya, Damiano David, Chinese actress Liu Yifei, South Korean actress Kim Ji-won and Lisa of Blackpink. The brand also maintains relationships with “friends of the house,” including fashion icon Linda Evangelista and actors Oscar Isaac and Isabella Rossellini.
The announcement was shared by both Gyllenhaal and Bulgari on Instagram on Thursday, where the actor’s account reaches more than 8.9 million followers. In recent days, Gyllenhaal has also been promoting his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal’s upcoming film The Bride!, which is set to hit theaters this weekend. The film stars Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale, with Gyllenhaal portraying a dancing character named Ronnie Reed.
On the acting front, Gyllenhaal was most recently seen in the Apple TV+ legal drama series Presumed Innocent, where he starred alongside Peter Sarsgaard, Renate Reinsve, Ruth Negga and Bill Camp.
Looking ahead, the actor has several projects in development, including the films In the Grey, Remain and the sequel Road House 2.
With his new role as Bulgari’s global ambassador, Gyllenhaal adds another high-profile collaboration to his portfolio while helping the historic Italian brand continue its strategy of aligning with influential figures across film, music and fashion.
