The Spanish queen dressed head to toe in the brand she was there to celebrate
Sundress season has claimed another convert, and this one wears a crown.
Queen Letizia spent Friday at the headquarters of Adolfo Domínguez, marking 50 years of the Spanish fashion house. She turned up in a piece from the label itself: a light midi dress printed with a geometric pastel pattern, with soft ruching gathered at the V-shaped neckline and again at the waist.
The rest of the look stayed just as considered. She carried a tan leather handbag, also Adolfo Domínguez, and wore embossed leather slingback sandals from Massimo Dutti. Her earrings were gold with diamond studs, from Gold and Roses.
A busy few weeks of summer dressing
This is the latest in a run of warm-weather appearances from the queen. Her most recent outing before this one was a meeting with university students at Madrid’s Zarzuela Palace, where she wore a sleeveless black maxi dress patterned with tiers of wavy white embroidery across the chest and skirt. She finished that look with espadrille wedges.
Earlier in July, Adolfo Domínguez turned up in her wardrobe again, this time in New Jersey. Letizia attended the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain alongside King Felipe VI and their daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias, and Infanta Sofía. The family coordinated in the colors of the Spanish flag: Letizia in a structured red midi dress with cape sleeves by the brand, Leonor in red trousers and a white blouse with asymmetrical detailing, and Sofía in a red collarless button-up tucked into tan slacks. Felipe kept it simple in a navy suit with a bright red tie.
