On August 3, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper set off marriage rumours when they stepped out in Paris, both wearing bands on their left ring fingers. The rings, since confirmed to be from French jeweller Boucheron, have Hadid in the house’s Quatre Radiant Edition band in 18K yellow and white gold, and Cooper in the Godron pink gold band.
The couple hasn’t said whether these are actual wedding bands or simply symbols of commitment nearly three years into dating. Either way, the jewellery made headlines — and Hadid’s ring in particular looks set to nudge a bridal trend.
“What stands out immediately is that Gigi didn’t choose a traditional plain diamond eternity band or classic gold wedding ring,” said Ali Galgano, founder of Serpentine Jewels, pointing to the mixed-metal design as the real talking point.
That blend of yellow and white gold is the old-world twist: a quiet break from the single-metal convention that could ripple into the season’s bridal jewellery.
