Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner marked World Cup Final kickoff with a sweet moment from their skybox seats

The couple marked kickoff with a sweet moment from their skybox seats.

The latest chapter in Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s run of sporting date nights swapped the basketball court for the soccer pitch. Instead of their usual Knicks courtside appearances, the couple turned up at MetLife Stadium—temporarily rebranded as the New York New Jersey Stadium for the event—to watch Spain and Argentina battle it out for the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy.

Chalamet had followed the tournament closely, even catching Spain’s semi-final victory over France in Dallas. For the final, he took on an official duty as the Adidas Stadium Captain, carefully carrying the match ball onto the field before kickoff. Once his role was done, he made his way up to the skybox to join Jenner.

Dressed in a blue Adidas long-sleeve top and black track pants, the actor marked the opening of the match with a kiss. Beside him, the Khy founder kept things neutral in an all-black look, apparently declining to favor either team. She shielded her eyes with sunglasses and cheered along, her cherry-red manicure on full display.

The pair chose a memorable year to take in a World Cup final together. Beyond the high-stakes match, the 2026 edition featured a blockbuster halftime show with Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, and BTS delivering a Super Bowl-caliber performance.

Throughout the game, the two were spotted cuddling up, applauding, and sharing a few affectionate moments in the stands.
