Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Quietly Marry in a Private Arkansas Ceremony

Former GMA3 anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have married in a private ceremony in Arkansas. According to People, their marriage licence shows the couple wed quietly in September, though no exact date has been made public, and representatives for the pair did not respond to requests for comment.

The choice of venue carries personal meaning for Holmes, 49, who was born in West Memphis and studied at the University of Arkansas. Robach, 53, and Holmes first met as co-hosts on GMA3 in 2020, and their relationship became public in 2022 while both were finalising divorces. ABC News later let both of them go from their roles on the show after the fallout over the relationship, which they had co-anchored with Dr Jennifer Ashton.

Since leaving the network, the couple have built a new career together through two podcasts with iHeart. The first, Amy & T.J., launched about a year after their exit, and in it they discussed how their romance began and insisted there had been no overlap with their previous marriages. They announced their engagement in October 2025, and the wedding news comes just under a year later. The couple have often spoken on air about their bucket list, which they say revolves around travel, new experiences and time spent with their children.

Earlier this year, on Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast, the pair hinted that their wedding would be unusual. Holmes said there was a way they wanted to marry that they had not yet revealed and that it would be very special to them. “This will be our third marriage, both of us,” Robach said, adding that they wanted to make the most of their time together. Robach was previously married to Tim McIntosh and then Andrew Shue, while Holmes was married to Amy Ferson and then Marilee Fiebig. Shue and Fiebig are now in a relationship with each other.

The newlyweds have blended families. Robach has two daughters, Ava and Annalise, from her first marriage, and Holmes has Brianna and Jaiden from his first marriage and a younger daughter, Sabine, with Fiebig. Next on their list is running: Holmes is set to take part in the New York City Marathon on November 1, a race the couple have completed together before, and Holmes has said the Las Vegas Half Marathon was also on their list of goals after the wedding.
