The singer and actress, who portrays Glinda the Good Witch in the production, chose a dramatic black gown lined in vivid fuchsia pink, complete with floral detailing and a coordinating cape.
The midi-length dress was selected by her longtime stylist Law Roach, who sourced the look from secondhand boutique Timeless Vixen in Beverly Hills, according to Marie Claire. Featuring a concealed corset and delicate spaghetti straps, the gown’s structure and silhouette paid homage to mid-century fashion, while the sweeping cape added theatrical flair befitting the evening’s theme.
Ariana Grande completed the look with black pumps and diamond stud earrings, keeping her accessories understated to allow the archival piece to shine. Her hair was styled in a voluminous, sculpted updo, complemented by a classic makeup look in deep pink tones that mirrored the gown’s inner lining.
The Paris appearance followed another standout Wicked moment just one day earlier. During NBC’s televised special Wicked: One Wonderful Night, Ariana Grande performed in a custom-designed ballgown by Robert Wun. The ethereal look featured a full skirt and a cascade of three-dimensional butterflies across the bodice and fabric, along with matching butterfly earrings and bubblegum pink opera gloves.
Roach shared images of the custom Wun gown on Instagram, expressing admiration for the design and collaboration.
“One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” he wrote, thanking the designer and his team for bringing the vision to life.
The stylist has been open about the creativity and preparation behind Ariana Grande’s Wicked press tour wardrobe, which has heavily leaned into shades of pink and whimsical silhouettes inspired by Glinda’s iconic visual identity. Speaking at a Los Angeles event on October 23, Roach described the process as highly collaborative and imaginative.
“There are hours and hours of fitting and laughing and swearing. It’s just a lot of daydreaming and imagination,” he said.
Roach, widely known for shaping Zendaya’s fashion legacy, also noted that returning to work with Ariana Grande felt natural.
“It’s just like coming back home, like two good friends reunited, and we get to play in clothes and a lot of clothes which is so fun,” he shared.
As the Wicked rollout continues ahead of its highly anticipated release, Ariana Grande’s wardrobe has quickly become a celebrated showcase of vintage glamour, theatrical inspiration, and fashion storytelling each look further establishing her Glinda era as one of her most visually memorable.
